Larry Mak is the designer / creator of CoD, he runs the game for the benefit of the players, to no personal gain... Or to put it in his own words "I don't make any money off this, and so literally I pay for you guys to play!".

He is generally regarded as god within the community despite his moderate (improving) levels of laziness!
