Online vs Live

Now here are some obvious tidbits - playing online is not exactly playing live. You can't read body language, and you can't hear the change in tonality, which, as cunning linguists would say, compose about 90% of all communication. Whether that is true or not is probably not important. So if you're a nervous wreck who can't stand being in any type of social situations (like me), this is probably to your advantage.

On the flip side, the persistence of memory means someone will remember every single vote, every single thing that was said. As someone with a relatively bad memory, this is a great thing. Now you can overanalyze everything that was said, every vote that was cast, down to the very last bit. Mind tricks, reverse psychology, reverse reverse psychology, and maybe just being dumb all factors in here.
