Turns

Turns are the fundamental action units within Circle of Darkness: Arena. Nearly anything a character does requires a number of turns, e.g., 2 turns to perform a regular attack, 1 turn to train 1 attribute.
Characters are given 1 turn every 5 minutes, until 24 hours before reset. See reset for more details.
Characters will continue to be given turns until the "soft" cap of 750 turns. You can gain free turns to go beyond this number, but turns wll no longer be given.
Other than waiting for it, there are a few (similar) tasks that can be done for a total of 50 turns.
Free Turns
Since the beginning of Circle of Darkness: Arena, Free Turns were given for additional tasks. Although these tasks varied from time to time, the premise is mostly the same.
As of May 19th, 2009, you are provided with three links for turns - "Free Turns", "Extra Turns", "More Turns". "Free Turns" links to the The Hunger Site, "Extra Turns" links to MPOGD, and "More Turns" links to The Breast Cancer Site. In total they will give out 50 turns.
Trivia
When the Breast Cancer link was first introduced it contained one of Larry's infamous typo's. The headline read "Support Breast Cancer", due to player pressure this has since been changed.
